Riverside Country Club of Bozeman, MT, is looking to hire Experienced Line Cooks for primarily evening shifts. Are you a kitchen professional who is interested in the culinary arts? This Line Cook position earns a competitive hourly wage of $20.00+/hour, depending on experience. As a full-time employee (35+ hours/week), you would also be eligible for health, short, & long term disability insurance after 60 days and will be enrolled in a generous paid time off program (PTO). Established in 1959, we are a member-owned country club with an 18-hole championship golf course, racket sports facilities, swimming pools, banquet facilities, and dining facilities. As the only full-service, family-oriented country club in the Gallatin Valley, we pride ourselves on our warm, friendly atmosphere that caters to the needs of our members and their families.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LINE COOK

As a Line Cook at our country club, you arrive each day determined to ensure that every meal that leaves our kitchen lives up to our standards of quality. You set up and prepare the line for service with all necessary supplies, making sure food items are properly stored and rotated. To ensure consistency and guest satisfaction, your portion and cook food according to our standardized recipes and assemble and plate food in an appealing manner. Your attention to detail ensures that each dish meets our established guidelines in every aspect and adheres to any special requests.

To ensure that properly cooked food gets out to diners on time, you communicate effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff while working in an organized, coordinated, and efficient manner. You maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas at all times and follow food sanitation standards to the letter. When called upon, you even help create recipes and daily or weekly specials. You love working in a fast-paced culinary environment. Your friendly attitude and professional approach towards coworkers, members, and guests alike, contribute greatly to the success of our country club.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LINE COOK

  • Understanding of basic kitchen skills
  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift to 35 lbs.

WORK SCHEDULE
